　　同學(xué)們，我們的祖國地大物博，資源豐富。我們的地球地理與經(jīng)濟(jì)概況復(fù)雜，奧妙無窮。你若想對它們有更深的了解，必須學(xué)好地理。

　　Students, our motherland is rich in resources and vast in territory. Our geographical and economic situation is complex and mysterious. If you want to know them better, you must learn geography well.

　　那么，如何才能學(xué)好呢?下面我就談幾點(diǎn)粗淺的體會。

　　So, how can we learn it well? Let me talk about a few superficial experiences.

　　首先，應(yīng)當(dāng)結(jié)合課本中的地圖以及有關(guān)地圖的介紹進(jìn)行記憶。記好地圖，是學(xué)好地理的.重要途徑，可以根據(jù)地圖進(jìn)行形象記憶。以中國地理為例：心中有地圖，我們就可以記住自西到東分別是新疆、西藏、青海、四川……黑龍江。要讓腦中有個(gè)立體圖像，便于記憶。

　　First of all, we should remember the map in the textbook and the introduction of the map. Memorizing a map is an important way to learn geography well. You can remember the map vividly. Take Chinese geography as an example: with a map in mind, we can remember that Xinjiang, Tibet, Qinghai and Sichuan are from the west to the East Heilongjiang. Let the brain have a three-dimensional image, easy to remember.

　　其次，可以借助大的河流來進(jìn)行記憶。大江大河的流域都很廣，記住它們流經(jīng)的地方，就可以記住相應(yīng)的地名。例如，南美的亞馬遜河，橫穿了南美洲北部的廣大地域，而它的兩邊就是寬廣無邊的亞馬遜平原。這樣，我們就可以記住亞馬遜平原在南美洲南部。

　　Secondly, memory can be carried out with the help of large rivers. The river basins of the big rivers are very wide. Remember the places where they flow, and you can remember the corresponding place names. For example, the Amazon River in South America traverses the vast area of northern South America, and its two sides are the vast Amazon plain. In this way, we can remember that the Amazon plain is in the south of South America.

　　再次，就是把氣候普遍相同的地區(qū)歸為一類，記其中最有代表性的一個(gè)。例如，在高緯度地區(qū)的英國、挪威、丹麥、冰島等地區(qū)，氣候基本一致——干冷、少雨、溫度低。我們可以把丹麥或冰島作為代表來記緯度較高的國家的氣候特點(diǎn)。

　　Thirdly, we should classify the regions with the same climate as one of the most representative ones. For example, in high latitude areas such as Britain, Norway, Denmark and Iceland, the climate is basically the same - dry and cold, little rain, low temperature. We can take Denmark or Iceland as a representative to remember the climate characteristics of countries with higher latitude.

　　最后，也是最重要的一點(diǎn)，那就是要下苦功。想學(xué)好任何知識，不下苦功是不行的，地理也是一樣。

　　Finally, and most importantly, we should work hard. If you want to learn any knowledge well, you can't do without hard work. So can geography.
