      Do you have an engagement, wedding, baby shower, or graduation coming up?

      Is there a performance, school event, or meeting to which you want to invite people?

      Do you want to invite someone to speak at your meeting or conference?

      邀請(qǐng)信用于日常生活中對(duì)別人發(fā)出邀請(qǐng),可分為正式邀請(qǐng)和非正式邀請(qǐng)。正式邀請(qǐng)一般用于大型的活動(dòng),如:學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議、訪問(wèn)考察、講學(xué)、婚禮等。非正式邀請(qǐng)用于朋友之間,如:吃飯、喝茶、看電影以及來(lái)家中小住等。邀請(qǐng)信一般應(yīng)于事前一兩周發(fā)出,詳細(xì)說(shuō)明邀請(qǐng)的目的'、時(shí)間和地點(diǎn),語(yǔ)言應(yīng)簡(jiǎn)短、熱情,給人真誠(chéng)、親切的感覺(jué)。

      說(shuō)明邀請(qǐng)的具體原因,活動(dòng)的具體時(shí)間及地點(diǎn)等;

      結(jié)尾時(shí)表示希望對(duì)方接受邀請(qǐng);

      表明希望盡快得到答復(fù)。

      邀請(qǐng)信的回復(fù)

      1. 無(wú)論是否接受邀請(qǐng),都應(yīng)表明謝意;

      2. 如接受邀請(qǐng),應(yīng)確認(rèn)應(yīng)邀時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)等詳細(xì)信息;

      3.如謝絕邀請(qǐng),文字應(yīng)婉轉(zhuǎn)、應(yīng)表示歉意,并說(shuō)明原因,有時(shí)可提出下次再邀請(qǐng)的請(qǐng)求。

      1. State the occasion, date, time, and place. Include addresses and a map if necessary. Mention if refreshments(食物,飲料) will be served. List any charges that may apply. Include a telephone number for RSVPs. If there is a dress code, state the preferred dress in the lower left-hand corner of the card.

      2. If you need a response, include a self-addressed, stamped reply card or envelope with your invitation.

      3. Express that you are looking forward to seeing the person.

      4. Do not use abbreviations and do not use contractions (don't; we'll) except for name titles, such as Mr., Mrs., etc.

      5. If dinner will be served, state two separate times: the time people can start arriving and the time dinner will be served.

      6.If you do not want gifts, briefly state that gifts are not wanted or needed. Explain that their presence is the only gift you need.

      7. Make sure you send your invitations out with ample advance notice.

      8. If you have guests coming from out of town or from other countries, you may want to send out your invitation several months in advance (especially if your event takes place around a holiday.) This will allow your guests adequate time to make preparations, reservations, save money, etc.

      9.For smaller, less formal events that include local guests or guests from nearby areas, you may only need to provide a few weeks notice.

      1. Name of the conference and the sponsoring organization;

      2. Date, time, place of the conference and speech;

      3. Type of audience;

      4. The type of speech, topic, and how long the speech should be;

      5.Any accommodations that will be made, including lodging, meals, and transportation;

      6. The name of the contact person along with phone numbers and addresses where the person can be contacted; and

      7.Finally, articulate(清楚表達(dá)) your pleasure of having the person speak at the meeting or conference. Wording of an invitation:
