Is It Good to Send Students to Study Abroad?
In recent year, as people’sliving quality increase, most families are tending to send their children tostudy abroad. This phenomenon has caused most people’s attention. Some arguethat we should send children to foreign country to study because they thinkthat other countries’ education is better than our traditional Chineseeducation. Some don’t think so because they believe that students should learnour traditional culture instead of going abroad. In my opinion, I thinkstudents should be sent to foreign country to receive sophisticated education. Reasonsare listed as the following.
Firstly, Students can learnmore through foreign country’s education. As we all know, most students study justfor entering into a better university in our country. All they learn is how topass exams and get high scores in school. On the contrary, the Westerneducation pays attention to students’ practical ability which would be a moreefficient way to learn rather than getting knowledge from books. To get moreexperience, students should be sent to abroad to study.
Secondly, students would bemore independent after study abroad. When students are sent to abroad, theymust take care of themselves in all aspects, gradually, they would learn how todeal with things they confronted rather than turning to their parents as theymay do in their own country.
All in all, students should besent to abroad to study so that they can attain more knowledge and also becomemore independently.
Students Should Be Encouraged to Take Part-time Jobs
More and more college students are taking part-time jobs. Some people argue that part-time jobs take up too much time that students have no time to focus on their studies, whereas others think that doing part-time jobs should be encouraged in that students can get rich experience from the jobs. As far as I concern, I think we should encourage students to do part-time jobs for the following reasons.
First of all, part-time job experience provides the opportunities for students to know about what jobs are really like and enhance their personal abilities. What’s more, such experience can help them be prepared psychologically for their future jobs. Second, the part-time jobs can enrich students’ daily life activities and help them to make more friends. If one has friends from different fields, these friends will help him with his personal development in the future. Third, taking part-time jobs can reduce the financial pressure. Many college students still ask their parents for money. This can be a heavy burden to some families. But if the students can do some part-time jobs and make money on their own, the family pressure can be relieved to some extent. Last but not least, part-time jobs can help students to find out their strengths and shortcomings. When they overcome the difficulties, they will become more confidence.
To sum up, doing part-time jobs has more advantages than disadvantages. The students can not live in the ivory tower forever. They will meet the challenges from this cruel world sooner or later. And doing part-time job is the first step to walk in this society.
婚姻的關(guān)鍵是愛(ài) Love is the Key Element to Marriage
Many people almost cry their eyes out when watching some soap playsthrobbed with love themes。Love is the key element that leads a couple before the sacred altarof the church。
However, in the past, many people got married without their ownconsent in China. Their marriage was arranged. Tow persons, a man and a woman, who were entirely strangers, were united in wedlock and became husband andwife. They had known nothing of each other before, and of course, love was asealed book to both of them. This type of marriage often led to unhappiness. Tragicstories of ill-matched were common enough.
Nowadays, it is held by many people that one should not marrywithout love. A man and a woman may freely make friends with each other. Theydo not talk of marriage until their friendship has ripened into love. In their marriage, they may take other things into consideration, but they regard love as the mostimportant thing. This type of marriage usually brings happiness.
Moreover, love may be a temporary passion, and those who are in loveare often blind to other things, so that what we call love matches do notalways result in happiness. Therefore, while love is required before a marriageis arranged, it is not the only thing required.
Should We Move to the City
With thewidespread development of city, more and more people have high desire to livein the city rather than stay at the village. Gradually, a great many cities areexperiencing difficulties which are nothing new change in the history of citiesexcept in their scale. Some cities have lost their origin purpose and not founda new one. Have you ever considered the changes that are taking place and willtake place in your city? Should we move to the city?
For one thing, a large or rich city is goingto attract immigrants who want their children require advanced education whichis the best choice. There are surrounded by the best equipment and teacher. What’smore important is the atmosphere. In the city, you can know much more thanbefore.
For anotherthing, in order to follow the step of city, we may pursue the money blindly.Under this pressure our way of lifestyle of city, even our bodies, becomeradically changed. We will go through an identity crisis and endeavor to findout who we are and what our strengths and weakness are. Because we lake of goodeducation in former days, we may lose the sense of balance.
Weighing upthese two arguments, I don’t know which answer is the best. Maybe it depends onyour family and their needs. Although more and more people in China no longerstay at village, I still hope the reality of life in the city is sweet. Thecherished ideal of home has great importance for many people.
How to Communicate with Others?
As humanbeings, we communicate throughout our lives for various porpoises. But justbecause we've been communicating for a long time does not mean that we arealways successful or that we can’t improve our communication skills. How can weconvey successful communication? Well, there are several useful tips may helpyou to improve your communication skills.
First ofall, listen and respond thoughtfully to others. You should spend more timelistening to others instead of boasting yourself. Some of us are veryegocentric, which means self-focused. If you spend too much time talking aboutyour own stuff, the people around you may think you are a tedious and annoyingperson. So, the best way to do is to consider our friends’ thoughts andfeelings. Try to be a good listener, when you express yourself, thinks about itcarefully before you really say it.
Second, appropriately adapt messages to others. It is not enough to be sensitive andaccurately understand others; when your send out your message, you pick up thebest ways and respond to others to achieve your communication goals. But itdoes not mean to say something that the listener wants to hear. That would beunethical. Appropriately adapt messages to others means carefully editing andshaping your responses so that your messages can be understood by others andyou can achieve your goals.
Last butnot least, try to interpret nonverbal messages. As we all know, unspokenmessages can express powerful ideas or emotions with greater impact than merewords. You should try to observe others facial expressions or movements andgive correct responds to others. You can see the emotions or attitude fromone’s gesture stops. Be sensitive and appropriate interpreting others.
Most peoplelearn communication rules from experience, by observing and interacting withothers. You can do that too, if you have enough patient and determinations.
怎樣處理生活中的壓力?(一)How to Handle Stress in Life?(一)
We are nowlive in the world where the fittest will survive. So it seems unlikely that wecan avoid the stress form this competitive society. And stress like adouble-edged sword, which can be used by us, or hurt us. The appropriate stresscan be the motivation for our success, while too much pressure can do greatharm to our health and daily lives. If we cannot get rid of it, we must learnto deal with it.
First ofall, we should have a right attitude to stress. It’s important for us toanalysis the reasons that cause pressure. If we fear that we may not pass theexaminations, then we should study harder, spend more time on the weaksubjects, and ask teachers and friends for help. Then the stress on ourshoulders can be relieved.
Second, weshould have more confidence in ourselves. Sometimes, we lack of experience orour inner heart is not ripe enough, we just don’t know how to solve theproblems, so the stress comes. We should say to ourselves that I lovechallenges and I am strong enough to face all of these. Failure does not mean Iam a loser, it only makes me stronger.
Last butnot least, we can turn to our friend to talk about our problems. They mightgive us some useful suggestions. Or we can simply have a short vocation; go tothe place we love to relax ourselves.
In a word, the stress in our lives is inevitable. We should face it probably, have faithin ourselves and use practical ways to deal with it.
